Sheet Metal Fabrication for OEM

As experts in sheet metal fabrication, we were contracted to manufacture several complex components for an OEM. Working with customer supplied DWG and DXF files, among others; we were able to create an integrated set of programming instructions for our CNC forming equipment as well as our advanced laser cutting system.

In addition to producing the specific hole patterns with the required geometrical positioning, we cut the curved and angular forms and executed complex bend sequences with the precise offsets and radii called for in the specification. Fabricated from .063” thick sheet, we consistently achieved ±.010” tolerances when manufacturing each of these three components.

A combination of careful planning and precise execution enabled the team at Austin Waterjet to meet the customer’s high standard of quality at a very favorable cost.
